SUPPORTING CHRIST'S FAMILY AT CALVARY

HELP LEAD WORSHIP

Among over 25 different ways you can support Sunday worship, you can volunteer to read scripture, usher, acolyte, run the A/V booth, join a choir, bake bread, or serve in the nursery or on the altar guild.

SUNDAYS

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Stephen Ministry is a lay caregiving ministry that supplements pastoral care. Volunteers participate in a 50-hour training then go on to provide one-on-one care for individuals who request support during a challenge time in their lives. The confidential care-giver and care-receiver relationship, usually conducted by weekly visits, may continue for months or years.

MEAL + TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY

When someone within the congregation faces a life challenge, volunteers offer to provide occasional meals and/or transportation to appointments, etc.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN

Our 100-student Sunday School Program, 70-youth age (4th-12th graders), and 175-children Vacation Bible School Program is supported by over 150 volunteers throughout the year. We offer nursery for younger children on Sunday mornings for parents to attend worship. If you love children and believe in passing the faith to the next generation, here's your opportunity to serve!

MINISTRY TEAMS

From Stewardship to Finance, from Campus Ministry to Christian Education, our ministry team volunteers help create, support and encourage our faith-life together.

REJOICING SPIRITS

Be a part of an inclusive worship and fellowship community; a ministry that reaches out to enrich the spiritual lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, friends and other supportive community members. Rejoicing Spirits at Calvary is a welcoming fellowship community which gives glory to God and shares Christ’s love. Volunteers support this worship experience by donating baked goods, ushering, staffing the welcome table, etc.
