SUNDAY SCHOOL HELPERS NEEDED Have you ever considered helping in the Sunday School program? Next year we are looking for helpers in our Kindergarten program as wellas our 1st grade classroom. We are looking for help in our older grades: 5th, 6th and 7th. Tasks would include: assisting the lead teacher with crafts, Bible lesson instruction, and participating in games to reinforce the lesson. If you are interested, but concerned about missing the church service, you would not be needed every Sunday; the most would be two Sundays a month. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to work with children - here is your chance! PARTNERS IN THE SPIRIT Partners in the Spirit is a joint meal and Bible study with our sister congregation, Emanuel, in South Philadelphia. We meet once a month on the second Tuesday, alternating between Calvary and Emanuel. Dinner is at 6:00 pm and Bible study from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Join us in this great adventure in faith. DINNERS FOR SAFE HARBOR Thank you to all of Calvary's members who cook and serve dinners at Safe Harbor every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. We are looking for more volunteers to plan, cook and serve future dinners at Safe Harbor. This is a very rewarding experience for both the volunteers of Calvary and the residents of Safe Harbor. FACILITIES AND PROPERTY MANAGER (PART-TIME) is the steward of the church's property and facilities. Responsibilities of this position include: oversee and procurement of vendor services and contractors; work with Office Administrator on scheduling and building use; prepare and manage budget related to property and facilities; work with volunteers and Facilities Ministry Team to enhance the ministry of the church through a beautiful and well-maintained property and facility. DIRECTOR OF FAMILY AND YOUTH MINISTRY will work with Calvary’s entire church community and will be responsible to grow, equip, develop and lead a comprehensive Family and Youth Ministry program. The Director will provide leadership, direction and supervision in the areas of Family and Youth Ministry and Christian Education for Children and Youth to cultivate a Family of God who is inspired to grow, play, discover and serve together.
