Calvary's Mission statement is "Give Glory to God and Share Christ’s Love!"
Calvary Lutheran Church's Twelve Vision Statements:
1. Worship and Pray...Every Day
As the body of Christ, we will keep prayer and worship at the center of our lives. We will provide diverse opportunities for praise, confession, thanksgiving and supplication. We welcome everyone to share in God's Grace and Mercy.
2. Know, Grow and Go in Christ
Calvary acknowledges that education is an essential element in anyone's faith journey and will provide opportunities to encourage all to experience the learning they need to grow in their relationship with Christ.
3. All Are Welcome
Calvary will provide a loving and welcoming community encouraging all people to embrace their faith journey.
4. Can You Hear Me Now?
We will share God's love through highly effective church management and internal and external communication. This will be led by dynamic pastoral and lay leadership supported by joyful disciples.
5. Serving Here, There and Everywhere
Calvary will offer opportunities to use our gifts and resources to reach out and spread the word of God to the local and global community.
6. Equipping God's Team
We will equip, encourage and acknowledge all members who share with our pastors, the responsibilities for the life and ministry of Calvary.
7. Share the Good News!
In obedience to the Great Commission, we will take every opportunity through our words and actions to share the message of God's saving grace and love, both within and beyond our Calvary family.
8. Give, and You Will Receive
As disciples we will demonstrate our stewardship by freely giving our time, money and talents in service to support our Mission.
9. Dollars and Sense
Calvary will be open and transparent in financial matters and will make informed decisions to set priorities and to allocate our resources in support of our Mission, while maintaining financial stability.
10. Facilities that Facilitate
Calvary will strive to provide optimal facilities that are inviting and that support all the activities of the church in the fulfillment of our Mission.
11. Generations United by Faith and Fun
Calvary will be a place where all types of families and youth can come together as valued, essential members of our community. We will provide innovative programs, leadership and resources that nurture, excite, and encourage families and youth to participate..and have fun.
12. Whenever Two or More are Gathered...
Calvary will build relationships by providing events, small group activities and other opportunities for fellowship and prayer both inside and outside the church wall.
